Fabio Fognini will return to Switzerland trying to defend his title at this year’s J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open. The ATP 250 clay-court event will be held from 21 to 29 July 2018. The World No. 15 from Italy could become the first player since Sergi Bruguera in 1994 to lift the trophy in Gstaad two years in a row.

Fognini will be joined by a couple of familiar names on the ATP World Tour, as Spaniards Roberto Bautista-Agut and Feliciano López as well as Dutchman Robin Haase will return to the Swiss Alps. The veterans will be challenged by #NextGenATP stars Andrey Rublev of Russia, Croatia’s Borna Coric and Italian young gun Matteo Berrettini.
