LUDWIGSHAFEN, July 3, 2019
The top two seeds led the way on a busy Wednesday at the Ludwigshafen Challenger. No. 1 seed Henri Laaksonen opened up his campaign for a third title this season, defeating Lucas Miedler of Austria 6-4, 7-6(4).
The World No. 97 from Switzerland won 76 per cent of his first service points and 55 per cent of the total points played to advance to the third round in one hour and 42 minutes. Laaksonen, who lost to Jason Kubler in the first round of the qualifying at Wimbledon, will next be challenged by Constant Lestienne. The 27-year-old Frenchman beat Thiemo de Bakker from the Netherlands 6-3, 6-4.

Next up for Travaglia will be Spanish veteran Daniel Gimeno-Traver.
