HAMBURG, October 2, 2019
The ATP has released the entry list for this year’s inaugural Tennis Challenger Hamburg presented by Tannenhof to be held on October 21-27, 2019 in Hamburg-Horn. World No. 83 Mikael Ymer from Sweden will lead the field. The 21-year-old has captured his first three ATP Challenger career titles this season in Noumea, New Caledonia, Tampere, Finland and Orleans, France.

A strong contingent of local players will also play the €46,600 hard-court event at the base of the German Tennis Federation (DTB). World No. 159 Oscar Otte is the highest-ranked German, who entered the tournament. #NextGenATP competitor Rudolf Molleker, Matthias Bachinger, Tobias Kamke, Julian Lenz, Daniel Masur, Mats Moraing and Cedrik-Marcel Stebe will also be part of the line-up, fighting for the title and 80 ATP Ranking points.
“We are very happy to present such a strong entry list at the first edition of our event,” tournament director Mirco Westphal stated in a press release. “Spectators in Hamburg can look forward to many international top players who bring a high quality and will certainly provide many exciting matches and best entertainment.”
