Top seed John Isner and second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime headline the Chengdu Open, which returns for the fourth year. The ATP 250 event helps kick off the three-week Asian Swing and is one of four tournaments held in China during that stretch.

Third seed Benoit Paire seeks his third ATP Tour title of the season, while fourth seed Grigor Dimitrov looks to build on his US Open semi-final run. Denis Shapovalov, seeded eighth, and 2017 Next Gen ATP Finals champion Hyeon Chung also round out the field.

Murray to play in Zhuhai

Former World No. 1 Andy Murray continues his comeback this week at the inaugural Huajin Securities Zhuhai Championships in China. Murray last played singles at tour-level at the Winston-Salem Open on 19 August. But he plans to play four consecutive ATP Tour events during the next month.

Nitto ATP Finals hopeful Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece leads the ATP 250 draw, with Wimbledon semi-finalist Roberto Bautista Agut, France’s Gael Monfils and St. Petersburg Open finalist Borna Coric of Croatia rounding out the top four seeds. All four players are ranked inside the Top 15 of the ATP Rankings.
