Top seed Benjamin Bonzi began his quest for a third ATP Challenger title of the season by moving past Aziz Dougaz from Tunisia 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at the €44,820 Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco on Tuesday evening.

The 25-year-old Nimes native lifted the trophies in Potchefstroom, South Africa in February as well as at the Ostrava Open in the Czech Republic in early May.
Bonzi will next take on Michael Geerts. The 26-year-old Belgian qualifier eased past Kaichi Uchida of Japan 6-1, 6-2 in just under one hour of play.
