Swiss qualifier Antoine Bellier capped his dream week in Mexico by winning his maiden ATP Challenger Tour title at the 35th edition of the San Luis Open BMW, the oldest tournament and second-longest running on the Circuit behind only Tampere, Finland. The World No. 488 overcame eighth-seeded Argentine Renzo Olivo 6-7(2), 6-4 7-5 in his first Challenger final on Sunday.
Left-handed Bellier fired 15 aces, saved all six break points he faced and capitalized on two of his own 14 break-point chances to secure victory in two hours and 42 minutes.

The 25-year-old Geneva native, champion of four singles titles on the ITF Pro Circuit, recorded seven match wins at the $53,120 clay-court event this week to celebrate the biggest triumph in just his sixth appearance on the Challenger Tour. Bellier took away from the Club Deportivo Potosino $7,200 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points and has reached a new personal best ranking of World No. 310.
He has become the third Swiss champion of the year, joining Dominic Stricker and Marc-Andrea Huesler. It marks the first time on the Circuit since 2009 with three winners from Switzerland in the same season.
